Apparently it took much to handle all of them together.
I just tired. I only a human being, why do I have to go though all these shits?

This week just sucks, seriously!
Just awaiting for the weekend to arrive, and I want to forget all the problems and totally enjoy myself.

Lai Lai Causal Dining

 



Went to Jurong Point with Baby. Collected my blushers from Elynn and we went for lunch, and I saw this restaurant. It reminds of the good old times I had with my girles. We use to have this as well, at Bugis already. Baby & me decide to try this! Apparently the menu is much much different, as compare to the past.


Saw this placed on each & every individual table and Baby got very excited. Apparently Baby like this a lot, and he can't stop keep placing them onto the saucer!

We both order a set each.
Each set come with a drink, a side order and a main dish!


Our drink: Bubble Red Tea with Pearls!
It taste similar to those of Bubble Tea Cafe, I don't mean shops like KOI or Sweet talk. This has a much richer taste as compare to them! This is good. :)


Side order #1: Fried Bringal with Pork Floss
This is yummy! Crispy on the outside and smooth soft in the side, very nice! Together with pork floss, make a very nice combination. Apparently this is quite common. I had it once at a zhi char store in Toa Payoh and it tastes the same too!


Side order #2: Pepper Salt Chicken, in chinese: Yen Shu Ji
The chicken is coated and deep fried. The outer layer of the chicken is crispy and have lots of favoring. The inner layer is tender and juicy. Good! I can't compare this as I have yet to try this at other stalls or anything.


Main dish #1: Beef Noodle
The soup base is very refreshing taste, with a slight spicy favor. The beef is very soft and tender, literally just melt in your mouth. Noodles is very Q! Very nice!


Main dish #2: Taiwan Noodle, also known as Mee Sua
There 3 types of mee sua to choose from: Intestines, Shredded Chicken Slices & Meatball.
Babt choose to have meatball. I did not try this, as I do not take meatball, but it look really nice! I so going to try this the next round, which shredded chicken slices of cause!

Total bill came out to be around $30.25, which is very affordable.
However, we think 2 sets is a bit too much for the both of us. Half way through my noodles and I was feeling so full already. Hence Baby have to finish up his own noodles, my 1/2 eaten noodles and the sides dishes! :(
The next round, we going to be smart, just one set and order al carte instead. :)

Mr Eden give me a sample the last round, and after trying I really love this product. Love how instantly brighten up my face and add radiance to it! Makeup glides on easily after that. Very nice.
Thanks to Huishan for the help in CP-ing. Retail pricing at $74 and this is way cheap! :)


YSL Lipstick in #141.
Very smooth application and glides onto the lips without drying it out, unlike certain brands do on my lips. :( Thank to Huishan again, for the CP and to Eileen for the sharing, so I can get this at such cheap price! :)


Majolica Majorca Blusher in PK333. Currently on 20% in Watsons.
A very natural pinky shade when applied onto face. Although with flash, it seem like there a bit of gold sheen, but it not visible on normal lightings. I not fancy of powder blusher nowadays, but I still got tempted to get this. A good buy! :)

I'm feeling so sinful after doing this post! :(

Tom Yum Fish Soup @ Bishan

 



Tom Yum Fish Soup with Thin Bee Hoon, Chinese Style.

On Tuesday, I had mad cravings for Tom Yum again and decided to drag Baby to go eat this!
This is very nice, definitely loves! I find no words to describe this, seriously, cos words can't tell how good is this! Sour & spicy flavor found in the soup and gobble down my, and flow into my tummy! *thumps ups*
Everyone should try this!

Apparently, if you don't take Tom Yum, you can try their fish soup over there as well! Baby had it once and it very nice as well! You get to choose to have milk base slice fish soup as well! Okay, I a mad lover of milk base sliced fish soup, but not everywhere will be able to get it! :)
Other than fish, they do offer seafood soup in their the normal clear base or in Tom Yum form!

If you are interested to try, it located at Bishan St 13. It in a coffee shop, just directly opposite the NTUC. :)

P/s: Pardon for the grainy pictures. The place was quite dark that night, as we were sitting outdoors. Did not use flash, as not to alarm others.

A couple of my friends have tired this and it all good comments! We could not resist the temptations of good food and decide to make a trip down to try it ourselves!
The location of this restaurant is at Kovan, but however it not near to the MRT station. We took a 10-13mins to reach there. I reach there around 6.30pm, and there is like about 3-4 people q-ing in front of us already, despite on a Monday night. It took us another 15 mins to get seated down. During the waiting time to settle down, we were given the menu to look at, and do a selection of dishes before we seat down. :)

After we got seated down, it took about another 15 minutes again for all the food to get serve.

Drinks are served first. We normally use order 1 drink. And the restaurant serve us with ice water as well!
Apparently, I have a thing with glass bottle, hence I order a soft drink. :P


Busy with two phones while waiting. Busy man!!


At 1st intention, we wanted to try the pineapple rice very much. But then, we decide to go on healthier option and go for white rice instead. :P Ignore us.


Tom Yum Seafood Soup in Clear Base.
There 2 types of soup base that you can choose: Clear or Thick. I want to get back the taste that I had in Thailand, hence I go for the clear. And this is very good! Although it look as clear as normal chicken broth or any other boiled soup, but then, when you slip it down your throat, IT IS DAMN POWERFUL! Very shiok! It is really very good! What more, the amount of ingredients in the soup is a lot, and very fresh! Definitely worth the price! :)


I not sure what is this, I think it something to do with Curry. Actually we wanted to order Chicken in Chili Paste, but this obviously don't look like. Baby conclude this should be Curry Chicken.
Although is a wrong dish, but then me & Baby still gobble it down! Delicious is all I can use to describe.


Asparagus with Prawns.
We have two spicy dish already, and decide to have a non-spicy vegetable dish. A lot of prawns in the dish and very fresh!

My process of DRIVING

The day, I dragged my boy to SSDC and get myself ENROLLED in!
It really a very big decision made, consider the amount of money and time that is need to contribute it!

I seriously a slow learner when come to practical, definitely no good at it! :P

30 Jan 2010 (after close to 1year!!),
MY BIG DAY. Not marriage lar, the day i going to my TP!!
I swear I was damn stressful, i was sweating like hell, on my palm! LOL.
During the waiting period, I was praying damn hard to get Test Route 8 or 9, as there are a lot of right turns. I totally sucks at right turns, don't like it at all!
But in the end, I got Test Route 5, which they say is quite tough too! BOOOOOSSS!!

While having a face-to-face talk with the tester with regards to the results, he tried to cheat me, saying that I failed. But apparently, I caught the word: PASSED! wahahahha!

Quite high huh.
But then, who cares?! As long as it is a pass, somemore on 1st attempt, I more than happier already! :P

Went for some stupid video thingy. But when I'm done, the boy has yet to arrive at SSDC lor! -.-
Call him to check where is he, and also tell him the good news! but he just tell me: REALLY? ARE YOU SURE?
OMG, so irritated. Feeling like slapping him lor.. -.-

Anyway, when he reached, I am still waiting for my driving license application. So so so long! Tsk tsk.
After appox 1 hour, this is what I get:

Another round of waiting start again!
After close to a month of waiting, TP decide to send me what I wanted & been waiting for so long!!




Everyone is the house wonder why is it taking so long for TP to send me this? :(
And the boy says: I guess TP has a change of mind, and decided to fail you instead!
WTF lor!! :( But anyway, shall ignore him since I receive it already! WEEE!! :)

Will be awaiting for the day I getting my own car.. :p
