A few days before the eve of CNY arrives, I decided to call all my girls out for our very own girlie reunion! :P
Thanks to all my sporty & steady babes! Unfortunately Ms Lau is unable to join us. Well, there always a next time. :)

Set up to meet them at Novena, and we head to Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant which is located just opposite of Novena Square. Read from reviews about good reviews on this and it is a good try. :)

Claypot Tofu.Kai Lan.Sweet & Sour Fish Slices.Prawn Paste Chicken.
There nothing special about the Prawn Paste Chicken at all, quite disappointing about it. It taste just like any chicken that has been fired before.
Simply adore the fish slices. I not sure about others, but this is the 1st time that I had fish slices in this way. Normally it always serve with fried fish. Quite unique imo. :)

And how could I end the post with no peektunes of us? :p

Had a company lunch on the day before CNY! :)
Venue was at Black Angus, located at somewhere at NUS. There other outlets around Singapore as well. If you are interested, you can try goggle for the other locations. :)

Other than the fact that I had to drive up, else it will be inconvenient, else I got nothing to grumble about. The environment and the staffs are so friendly, and double thumps up for foodie! If you were to compare this and my Morton's,I would definitely go for Black Angus. Lesser the price & double the goodness! :P

Pork Ribs and Chicken Combo

Had a bite on this, the chicken is soft and tender and just melts in mouth. Pork Ribs is not hard at all, prefect grilling with sauce.

MINE!! Prime Rib of Beef.

I had it done medium raw, the prefect taste for beef imo. The beef just melts in my mouth when enter it. And the best part is that, the portion is just right for me. *thumps up*

Chocolate Fudge Cake!

I must rave on this totally! I was never a fan of chocolate nor a chocolate lover but I manage to finish up this piece. It was way damn good. As I was typing this, I just feel like groping another pieces of this down. :p

Actually we order their signature Ice Cream Mudpie, Starter salad and also Streak Soup which I didn't manage to snap pictures in time.

Loots of January

A recall of what I have bought over the month of January.

While I was editing the pictures, I was quite shock at how much I could buy myself too! 
I guess the New Year festive season and my back-to-school feeling, tempted me into buying a lot more. LOL.
July say, by doing all these recall posts will help in reducing shopping, and hopefully it will work for me. :)

Pineapple Tarts <3

I been into baking so much recently! Don't know what up with my current obsession.

Due to the new year festive mood and my sudden cravings for pineapple tarts, I decide to do some research and I manage to find the recipe for pineapple tarts! And I manage to work it out well! I'm so happy!

I so going to bake again this weekends.

Anyone interested in the recipe can let me know. But to be honest, the pineapple paste is I bought it, I didn't do it myself :x.
