This time round the 6 of us brave to Geylang and invaded into Wen Dou Sak, commonly known as 126! It is located in between Lorong 15 and Lorong 17, walking distance from both Paya Lebar MRT station and Aljunied MRT station. Majority of us just meet up together at Paya Lebar and walk over together.

We finish up and cleared up everything! :D
All of us went back with a full and bloated tummy! Totally satisfied with this dim sum dinner. *thumbs up*
Nice dim sum with good and fresh indigents used! Worth the pennies that we spent.

After our dim sum dinner, we took a slow stroll to Paya Lebar MRT station.
Even at MRT station, we still can have tons of fun! Totally love my girls! :)

No pictures of me, photographer of the day! :(
Nonetheless, I still enjoy it! Haha.

Decide to end the night at Cafe Cartal.
Had a desserts shared among everyone and we just chit chat and try to catch up with one another. Tons of fun, joys, laughter and happiness! Can't imagine that we really finished up that desserts. And Cafe Cartal after 9pm dessert promotion is so good and worth it! I want more more more and more now!!

Bintan Getaway~ <3

Photobucket

FINALLY, after for i-don't-know how long, WE ARE GOING ON A TRIP TOGETHER AGAIN!
Due to my school timings and all, it quite hard to have much spare time to go for a getaway, unless during holidays or something. For this year, we even miss out celebrating our 3rd anniversary together. So we decide to go for a trip, to somewhere away from the busy city to totally relax and enjoy ourselves! And yes, you are right, we went to the sunny island, BINTAN! :)

Photobucket

As school holidays are round the period that we are heading off, we foresee-ed a huge crowd of people departing. Hence we arrived at Tanah Ferry Terminal appox 1 and a half hour before our ferry ride. Thank god, there wasn't much of people when we collected our tickets and when we do checking in. People start flooding in after we are done! :)

Rest of the time before our flight is just pure photo-taking session. There nothing much at the ferry terminal for us to look us actually. And George just took my pictures and keep shooting me. -.-! But I really love the photos he has taken for me.

And should not forget a pic of us!
PhotobucketPhotobucket
I seriously looks damn chubby beside the skinny boyfriend! :(

After a while, off we go! Bids good bye to Singapore and says hello to the sunny island Bintan, the blues seas and the blue sky! WHOO HOOO~

I slept thru the whole of the ferry journey. Was so tired. George entertain himself by watching some stupid & lame Mickey Mouse cartoon that was playing on the TV. I seriously, cannot stand the sound of Donald Duck, ultra irritating to the max!

Anyway, but the time I woke up, I was greeted by the sign: WELCOME TO INDONESIA!
But the weather played a prank on us! It was drizzling heavily when we arrive. Immigration was ultra slow due to sudden huge crowd there. Took quite a while before we manage to take the hotel shuttle bus and left for the resort.
Photobucket

When we arrive at the hotel, we were greeted by very friendly Indonesia people. There are staffs who perform their Indonesia traditional dance right in front of us to welcome us. Not only, we were served with drinks as well! The interior of the hotel lobby looks very cozy. It such a pleasure to be in such a cozy hotel. No more images of the bustling busy city of Singapore! I just wanna relax myself much here!!

Upon checking in, We were given a room number of 3056, which is located on the West Wing. And the best part of this holiday is that my room is location on the same level as the lobby. I just so lazy lar! But not only that, my room is of the 1st room along the corner. How shiok! And I totally love my room very much!

PhotobucketPhotobucket

And the best part would be the view out directly from my room! It just spells FABULOUS!
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Doesn't all these just look like postcards? I totally love it.

Photobucket
Okay. We both love the hotel room. :)

Settle down, unpack our stuffs and we decide to took the hotel's shuttle bus and head off to Paser Oleh Oleh. Not for free of cause, we had to pay $6 each and it was such a lousy bus! It was raining on our way back and the air con was leaking! Not very worthwhile to come here also.

At Paser Oleh Oleh, you can do actually a bit of light snacks shopping. Some prices are very reasonable and way cheaper than the overpriced snacks in the hotel. And you might be able to source some authentic Indonesia products over there, but prices might not be as cheap as it is in other parts of Indonesia. Beside shopping, you have your meals taken as well. I was looking at one of a leaflet given by the people there, the prices are quite okay, similar to Singapore's prices. There also spa, massage in this area as well. But then, I do not dare to try it out. Who knows what will happen when you are in midst of enjoying the process. Better be safe than sorry! :x

Photobucket
A picture of us as memorial.
Took the hotel shuttle back to the hotel after 1 and a half later. Basically we spent like 10 to 15 minutes walk finish the whole of Paser Oleh Oleh already. Nothing really much. Most of our time is spent inside the mini-mart, thinking of what to buy. Haha. In the end, we bought back tea-bags and as well as Tel Boltoh, my fav! :) I don't think our $12 bus tickets even justify for what we have buy and go under the rain! :(

Back to hotel. Explore, Small Walks, Relax, Rest and Shower all before dinner! ♥ Photobucket
Map of the whole Bintan Lagoon Resort.

A tiny view from the East Wing of the resort. :D
Every part of the resort can see the sea. Chio max!

Interior of the building.
Very much remind me of those chalets in Singapore, no idea why.

Photobucket

SPOTTED! Jack&Jills potatoes chips at $5!! Anyone?? Gosh.

Photobucket
The bar! Didn't manage to get a drink or two here. :(

Photobucket
Every part of the resort just spells COZY!

Photobucket
Kopi-O restaurant.
Every night they got a different buffet theme. That night was Deep Blue Sea. Mainly of seafood and grills. I didn't try it. But if you are interested, can check out Lifang's Review here!

Photobucket

The only Japanese Restaurant in the resort.
And the price is like..
Photobucket
HMMMM, no comments.
I think we might be able to find cheaper Shabu Shabu and Sukiyaki somewhere else.

Some scenery pictures on our way to the beach.

After all the walkings and all, we could not decide what to eat for dinner. And your truly is coughing so badly. So we decide to head back to the room and end the night with the company of television and cup noodles which we bought in!

The next day, we were greeted by fabulous breakfast! There's a huge spread of food available. And we certainly do have a little trouble deciding what to eat. Very satisfied breakfast!

Head back to the room to sleep somemore after a full and bloated tummy before setting off out again! I slept for 3 hours at least, I think. By the time I woke up, was around noon area. The weather was furiously hot!

It really too hot to stay outdoor. I almost want to die! Sweating furiously! We decide to walk back to our room and relax at the balcony instead. Was sweating madly there as well, till it decide to rain after minutes later! Mad weather!!

 Photobucket Photobucket

When the rain ended, we packed our stuffs and went to the swimming pool to relax. But then the weather did not spare us! George went in to dip in the pool while I stick my butt onto the beach chair. While I position so comfortably on the beach chair, then the sky decide to drizzle once again! Argh, super irritating to the max! Lucky after this rain, the weather decide to have mercy on us and it was quite cooling after. Had fun at the swimming pool and at the beach!

AND LOOK, GUESS WHAT WE SAW AT THE BEACH? Photobucket Photobucket
How romantic to have your proposal set up like that! GOSH!
I secretly wish that was George's doing, but yah, all I get was disappointment! Nah, kidding! Haha.

Head back to hotel to wash up and we head out for dinner!

Theme buffet for Kopi-O restuarant: Streamboat & Grill
But I wasn't a fan of buffets and I would greatly prefer yesterday theme, hence Kopi-O out!!

Instead we head to 3 Degree Restaurant located just next to the beach. We happen to walk pass the proposal setting again! But we didn't manage to see the guy on the knee lar, feeling a little wasted! :( *secretly wishing George to do it :x* And so coincidence, George bumped into his army friend at the restaurant!

Complimentary Soup: Carrot Soup

The meal wasn't really fantastic! For the price we had paid, we could have better meals here in Singapore. The ambiance is nice, but the service sucks totally. We waited for like 15minutes for the waiter to entertain us and bring us to our seats and waited for another an hours just for our food to come! By the time the food came, we were like almost full already lor. One of the worst meal I had. If I'm coming to Bintan again, I not going to try here anymore!

Ended the night with entertainment from Jacky Wu. Bintan's television could be able to view Singapore's channels! Great! I hate going to other countries and there is like only 1-2 channels that we understand only, will die of boredom lor!

Our breakfast on our last day in Bintan.
Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
Among all, I love the omelette egg! It consists of ham, tomatoes, mushroom and cheese inside and is prepared only when you order it! For 2 days straight, I had this fat chef to prepare the eggs for me and it delicious! Speaking about it now, make me misses my eggs.

Walk around the hotel after breakfast and we manage to get dirt cheap pricing for Polo! Back to the room then, to start to do our packing out. Haha. My camera decide to pass away (Low Batt then No Batt) on the very last day and I didn't have enough time to charge it. Argh :(

The very last few pictures....

Thru my hotel room window out to the sea~ Awwwww, beautiful!!
