Blueberry Muffins~ ♥

Baking is one of my greatest passion. 

I love seeing those happy faces after trying out whatever I have bake, especially G's. But having a full-time job and part time studies in the past, didn't allow me to have time to do any of this. I keep whining and complaining how much I yearn to do these again. Hence when I'm jobless at this moment, G suggested that I should bake again since I got so much free time.

 I suspected that he secretly want to save his breakfast money actually. :p

Bake of this week, blueberry muffins.
Discover a recipe online that instead of using the usual egg and butter batter, can be replace with yogurt either. Definitely healthier and not as sinful! I especially like the middle part of the muffins to be slightly moist and fluffy! 

I'm sure to re-make this with different fruit variant the next time!

Bro's Graduation~ ♥

The baby brother has finally graduated with his diploma certificate!

 No big baggie I know, but still a moment the Ho family is proud of. :)

 My younger brother, although he looks older & taller than I am but he younger than me by 3 years :p, was no expert when it comes to studies. What he knows and does best is busybody-ing. No kidding you, seriously. He had an extra 2 years of secondary studies, more than anyone does. We were so worried when it came to his poly studies. Imagine he join IT Studies Club as CCA, doing kpo works, camps, and he stays in school more than anyone does. Not forgetting about his internship, roller coaster everywhere, we were so damn freaking worried and freaked out. 

But he proved to us, despite all these CCA activities that he has, he still can manage his studies well enough. Graduating with a GPA close to 3 and his CCA point as distinction, we could not be even happier for him! What's more amazing is his crowd of friends and supporters, who screamed and cheered for him when he's up on the stage. :,)

Congratulations bro, once again!

We are so proud of you! :)

PS:- I really hate standing next him. Despite with my heels on, I just barely touching his shoulder. Why same parents can make such a big difference to the both of us? Sighs. 

Zumba~ ♥♥

Attend the Tuesday weekly Zumba class again!

Wee~

This time round is with another instructor and she make the class much more enjoyable, despite there is some moves which I am not able to work it out. She said:- "You have to really let loose to enjoy and let the calories burn. Do you want to burn 0 or 1000 calories in this 1 hour?" And I did, letting loose, do everything I can, with double the times of effort. And I enjoyed the class very much, even if she make us do half squat movements and make my legs feels jelly afters. But it was super shiok and I even woke up with a arching body the next day! This shows that I have done my workout well enough. Yay!

And indeed, exercising really clears the mind and I kinda like the feeling. Been feeling so troubled recently, and focusing on my class for that hours clears my mind and thoughts, and could not felt more refreshed after! 

Got to start planning a weekly workout routine and make sure I work it out. :D

6th Anniversary~ ♥

Happy 6th anniversary!

It's amazing how we came so far together, through all the ups and downs, thick and thin in life.

We fought, we cried, we break out. 
But love will always find its way to let us embrace into each other's arms once again. And bring us stronger. 

I can't help to be grateful to God for bringing you to me.
You are the best thing that could ever happen!

Although you never approved of the luxury part of my lifestyle, but however, the love you give, together with the continuous encouragements and support is nothing comparable. 
I'm very blessed, seriously!

Thank you for being there for me, whenever I need you. There no way I could express how I felt right at this moment, but thank you for the trust and believing in me, letting me to chase after dreams. 
I hope someday I will be able to do you proud. :)

Zumba~ ♥

There are many methods to keep in shape. 

Diet is one of it, and is a no-problem for me at all. 

But I feel like just by dieting, is not helpful enough. I would like to get more fitter and toner.

I tried a new exercise today, Zumba.

Zumba is like a mixture of dance moves combined with aerobics, and of course you need to be super hyper in it. And is seriously straining for me, for a person who don't even or rather can't dance in the club. But it was an nice experience.

And I'm sure I'm going to try it all over again and makes it work out right.

Simplicity of life

As we grow older, we often forget how simple life can be.

We are often blinded by what good food or material wants one could get.

Just like a bowl of noodles instead, there are so many choices, classes and also prices.

Today I revisited 秋连板面.

A bowl of simple noodles from a random coffee shop in Toa Payoh, which accompany me through poorer days.

Simple yet delicious and very satisifying to my tummy.

But how many people out there still remember this store?

After 2 years into my contract, I'm finally entitled for a change of phone! =)

As much as I love my Blackberry, but still, I took the chance to try a touch-screen phone.

Finally Instrgramming is coming into my way! =D

Hope Note will serve me well for the next 2 years! =D

KL cum Genting Travelogue 2012~ with my colleagues ♥

It is hard to find colleagues that can click, and not to mention people that is steady and game enough for some crazy ideas! Because 6th of April is a Good Friday, which turns to be a long weekends, we packed our bags on Wed, and Thurs after we head into an adventure in KL and Genting!

Definitely something very memorable! Imagine beating through the crowds of people at customs, and racing against the time. And not forgetting I'm the only Singapore among all.

 

3am in the morning, just reach KL. Thanks to Susan's brother-in-law for the fetch at the bus terminal, and insisted that we are hungry and bought us for a meal.

Hungrily slipping down the milo-kosong. We stay over at Susan's sister's place, so equal to accommodation money saved!

The next day, early in the morning, we headed up to Genting to get some cool wind. Nowadays, the weather is far too hot! We took a bus up from KL, and it was only appox an hour, which we have chance to catch up on some nap!

In the cable car, and was the most funniest moment of all! Shy was damn afraid of the cable car when it is moving us, which really cracks most of us up, especially she is tugging Susan so tightly, and Susan keep telling her: "LOOK LOOK, got elephant below!" Laugh die me.

When we have reach Genting itself, Susan spotted this caterpillar heigh measuring thingy and she made Carmen to stand on it to measure her height. And obviously, she wasn't tall enough, and she had a good laugh at her. Tsk tsk.

The most funny part is that, when we reach back to Singapore, we are still on topic of this caterpillar. She even went to find to a caterpillar soft toy and ask if Carmen want it a not. Omg lar, laugh die me!! 

And....

 The weather is really sunny at Genting, and I can't open my eyes literally!

 

And they found a shelter to hide for a while! And continue our cam-whoring!

 

Then they decide to play si-lian-pai! But after the 3rd post...

We continue our shopping and about 4-5plus, we decide it is time for dinner. And we back to KL for dinner.

It took quite a while, as this stall is famous for its BBQ stuffs.

 And we order noodles from another store.

Review:- Kristine's Blossom Bud Floral Sundress in Purple Blue

Been looking for a piece of pretty floral dress and I came across Kristine's!

Love the lightweight material of the dress, with slight silky touch, which make it so comfortable to be in the dress! The floral prints make me feels very demure and sweet in it! I love how I can pair this with my own belt or the black sash, and still look so prefect! :)

Really love this, as the sizing wise fits me well! And the length is good for work too! :)

Review:- Kristine's Pleated Hem Dress in Kelly Green

Gotten this piece off after seeing this on Kristine!

Like how the dress with the causal vibe, yet still look appropriate for work. :)

Material of the dress feel thick. Fit wise, okay on PTP, but feel snugly on my tummy area.

I been eating kinda lot recently, that why. :x

Other than that, no other issue, and I really adore the bottom part of the dress.

It makes a cute little skirt! :)
