Because May has a long weekend, and my colleague Susan is heading back to the hometown in Malacca, we decide to tag along back together to see Malacca.
My very last trip to Malacca, was when I was Primary 6?!
So damn long ago.
George was even worst, he never even went to Malacca before! :O
Hence on a Saturday morning at 6am, with 3 cars and 11 people, we set off a 4 hours journey to Malacca! :D
Our very 1st stop when reached:-
Chicken Rice Balls
Very different from what we had here. The rice balls looks much more smaller in size. What we had here is a size of a tennis ball, while the one in Malacca is in a size of a ping pong ball! :D Not only that, the chicken is much more tender and soft, and it just slip down the throat easily!
After breakfast, random walk around before we can check in the place we are staying for the night.
View on top of the hill
The landmark of Malacca.
Group Photo
Couple shot
三叔公 to get some local products.
Headed back 'Home'.
Susan's friend auntie owned this landed property and she loaned it out to people like us to stay, with a price. Quite smart arh, these people.
Interior of the house:-
Girl Camwhore! :D
And then we headed out for lunch!
Lunch was done at:-
Aunty Lee
Authentic Pernakan Cuisine
Sambal Kang Kong
The sambal was an addiction. You can't stop, seriously!
You just want more.
Curry Chicken
Egg Omeleete
Not my favourite thou, with onions and all added insde.
But the rest like this dish a lot.
Fried Fish with Sambal
Must order dish!! The sambal is good.
The fish, although look dry after deep frying, is but actually is still tender and soft in the inside.
Calamari Rings
After lunch, we headed to Jonker Street.
BBQ Cuttlefish.
Quite famous, with all the artists photos hanging around and my colleagues bought a fair bit of it. But I didn't try it thou. A bit stinky for me. :x
Cendol makers
Nonya Cendol
This is the most fabulous cendol that I ever had! Very thick and gao lor, unlike the cendol here! Love it so much.
Happy faces from the desserts.
Chicken rice.
The rice is very fragrant, and the chicken is very smooth and tender. It just slip down easily when place into the mouth.
Because the chicken rice is so nice, and we order only plate, you see how many people is snatching to eat it! :P
The master of chicken rice.
Buying fruits.
Fishball soup owner.
And yah, started eating AGAIN!!
We headed off for dinner.
This should be named as Food Trip, instead of Malacca trip.
We ate so much during the whole trip!
Susan bought us to this place, which I got no idea where is it.
Near to the sea and quite fantastic seafood!
The rice wrapped in Nasi Lemak style with chili inside as well.
Very unique.
The sauce to dip the seafood.
Tahu Goreng
Gong gong.
Some shell thingy which I don't eat.
Sambal prawns.
Fresh and yummy max! Loves.
Some random vegetables.
One fish in two types of cooking. So smart.
The fish is big and very fresh! Yummy yummy!
Half-eaten stringray.
Cos is so too yummy till, we forgotten to take a picture of it!
After dinner, KTV was next!
What not miss about KTV, was that bottle of Martel!

Happily KTV-ing :D
Heading out of the KTV.
And then... WHAT NEXT?
What are q-ing up for?
Satay Lok Lok!!
Happy faces while eating!
This is very 1st time eating Lok lok. So basically, you get the raw food cooked in the satay sauce. Hmmm, anything. Be it meat or vegetables or anything. :D
Unique experience! :D
