missylynnie ♥: Marubun Chinese New Year Dinner :)

Company organized a Chinese New Year dinner for everyone in the office. :)

Dinner is done at Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant, which is located at the 60th level of UOB Plaza.

The view is ultra fantastic I would say.

And it got even better when the night falls. Unfortunately I don't get a nice night shot as there is a reflection on the glass.

And in a typical Chinese setting restaurant, this is what you would see:-

Th man is trying to pour tea for us.

But this is so scary! You never know when you find the tea on yourself!

As this dinner is meant for Chinese New Year celebration, hence we started off the dinner with the traditional..

Lao Yu Sheng!

And we are given such mega long chopsticks to lao!

So funny max!

Was told to add spouts into the soup to add on the crunchy texture.

Not too bad.

I still think I look good in my bangs, awaiting for this year to be over before cutting again.

3rd dish...

Fish!

And my colleagues are laughing over the 'O' shape of the fish mouths! Hees.

Treasure Pot next!

So why this is call the Treasure Pot?

Cos it consists of many goodie yummy stuffs inside, like scallop, prawns, abalone, sea cucumber and etc.! Each different items is stacked into the pot layer by layer, and all of them added together and enhance the soup of the pot! When getting to the end, the soup is very favour and sweet. Nice~

Dinner ended off with an authetic Si Chuan dish..

La Mei Zi Chicken

I nearly died of this, no joke! This is deep fried together with tons of chili and chili seeds. And when the chicken touches your mouth, your lips straight away feels numbs and sore! I only had a piece and had a full glass of water, that bad for me. But I got other colleagues, especially Japanese, love this a lot. Haha!

And finally... Desserts!

I google about this and came to know that this is what?! dried fallopian tubes of frogs!!! I nearly puked at that seriously and I passed this my colleagues. So freaking gross that I can't even swallow this down, seriously.
