Fourth Day
Breakfast in the morning:-
Milk with cereal.
We bought this the night before at the convenience store, so smart to do it this way. It very convenient to eat it like that. No need to worry about the unable to finish pack leaving behind, or even about the cereal 'lao hong'.
And they even design such a cute spoon for our usage.
So cute please!
As usual, the vainly girlfriend need to camwhore first before she can go out.
And then we got on the train, heading towards 北投!
At the station while awaiting for George to finish his business in the toilet.
Map of 北投!
Random stuffs that we spot along the way:-
And then we finally arrive at here:-
北投 Hot Spring Museum
And the museum show us how is like in 北投 in the past and what are most components inside the hot spring. I shall not bored you with all the pictures of the museum!
Hot spring!
Standing the midst of it.
The water feel warm when you touch, duh!! This is hot spring mahs.
Feels very comfty and all. And I spotted people soaking their feets in.
I wish I could do that, but I'm in tights! :(
Taking a picture with the hot spring.
A lot places offering private hot spring baths, there even hot spring hotels as well. But we didn't try. Not really part of our schedule, maybe the next round. :)
Then we settle our hungry tummies in McDonalds.
And you know what the best part? You ask for chilli sauce, the waitress told you that they don't have. When you ask for other type of sauces, like Sweet & Sour or Curry Sauce, they require to top up 50cents. Not that I don't have the money, just that I wasn't quite willingly to do it. After all, it all free here right in Sillypore! So we endure with the Ketchup! HAHA!
Last few snaps to end our 北投 stop!
And the Taiwan people even built their own hot spring themed MRT.
So cute!
Such a cute train!
And we visited 101 at night! This is a MUST GO!
Ticket counter.
It is too dark and misty and I hate the damn reflection on the glass! :(
Maybe a trip in the day time would be much more better. :(
We were given such controllers, so that we can hear and understand what the exhibitions are talking about. It is so cool that we can choose what the language that we wanted.
So high-technology huh.
Me with a damper!
This is a model of it actually. The actual thing is suppose to hold the building, to make it stable. It weight tons, seriously! Thanks to dampers that we can visit the highest building feeling safe and stable.
Two stupid pictures of us and it marks the end our 101 trip!
Dinner next was done at a traditional coffee shop alike at our hotel downstairs. Been passing by so many times and I just wanted to try out the authentic taste of the food!
米粉汤
Some vegetables, I think is spinach.
Cockles.
Unfortunately quite a wrong choice to had it. They had it RAW, can you imagine it?
Intestines of Pig.
卤肉饭
George still hungry and he ordered the rice.
Apparently dining in such a place is not that cheap either. This meal cost us like close to $10. Was quite normal thou, but nonetheless, a good experience!
And bubble tea afters to fill up the remaining empty spaces inside the tummy!
Last part of the trip coming soon! :)
